About Above Studio
This project is a rebranding for Above Studio - a newly launched accessories brand founded in New York City and made in rural Thailand. The company empowers local artisans and helps clear clogged waterways by using pesky water hyacinth as their main source of material.
Ideas and Process
To represent the natural materials of the brand’s products, I created wordmarks that look more organic and sleek. I also wanted the logo to have some playfulness and uniqueness so I started stacking and arranging letters in an unconventional way.
Color scheme and patterns are inspired by the brand’s products.
